Martin Luther King Article ?'s

Why does the author feel that whites owe King the greatest debt?
The Author feels that whites owe him the greatest debt from liberating them from America's centry old hipocracy about race. Proving the U.S. can be truly a free nation.

Was King "the right man at the right time?"According to the author MLK was "the right man at the right time." The Civil rights movment would have been blind without him. King was a person that was used to leading and talking to a group of people. MLK's background suited him for the job and he had the currage to carry it out.

Would King be upset with the current use of his most often quoted line? Why or why not?

I think that Martin Luther King would be upset with the uses of his famous quotes. I agree with the authors resons including the Ward Connerly crusade thing. But overall I think Martin Luther King would find people who use it in ways he won't like, and he will find it in ways he does like.

Would You have been able to use civil disobedience and non-violence?

I do not think that I could have changed america with civil disobedience. If a law was unconstitutional or injust I could not deliver a message of protest in peace, when the police didn't care and used violence to stop the protest. If people used force to stop my protest I would do nothing else but use violence back at the police. PEACE WILL JUST BE IGNORED. Bold
