the two poems and especialy the article implied that the U.S. troops had absolutly no sympathy tward the civilians they just turned their wepons on automatic and shot them.

the war will also impact the civilians when the war is over. the land and everything will have been torn up by bombs and a lot of the peoples houses might have been burned or blown up.
